Jono has grown up sailing on Pittwater, originally in Opti's where he represented Australia in the Worlds team. He was introduced to the world of foiling by Dan on the windsurfer and wing in 2019 and hasn't looked back since. Jono placed 3rd in the Wingfoil Nationals in 2022 and has been assisting Dan coaching wing clinics since the beginning.
